Join us for our opening of the Women of Bartow exhibit, and to honor the 20 Bartow History Museum - Women of Distinction who are carrying on the legacy of the great women who made Bartow into the place it is today.
Robert Jones will also speak about his book 30 Most Influential Women in Georgia History. There is a long line of influential women in Georgia history, going back to Mary Musgrove in Colonial times, and moving ahead to today with politicians such as Karen Handel, Shirley Franklin and Cynthia McKinney. Jones looks at 30 influential women in Georgia in this book and will draw out some highlights during this lecture.
